Our Response to COVID-19
At Mudgee Veterinary Hospital we would like to reassure everyone that we are committed to providing veterinary services during the COVID-19 situation. Our main priority being the safety of our staff, clients and wider community.
In line with the recommendations from the Department of Health we have put in place a business strategy that will allow us to operate in the current climate.
We ask everyone to avoid physical contact and to practice the Department of Health's recommendations for social distancing
We ask that only one person/family member brings your pet to the clinic
We ask to please come to your appointment on time, if you arrive earlier you may be asked to wait outside in your car
Please refrain from coming into the clinic if you are unwell, we are happy to pick up your pet from your car or bring medicine to your car
We ask you to sanitise your hands on arrival at our designated hygiene stations
We have increased our cleanliness protocol sanitising the waiting room and consult room after every patient
We have limited Vet/Client contact time to 10 minutes in conjunction with staggered consult times to ensure distancing
We can reassure everyone we are open for business and here for your pets throughout this crisis.
As vets we deal with infectious diseases such as Canine Parvovirus on a daily basis. We understand how to control the spread of infectious diseases very well.
Should things change in our region, we are well prepared to implement different stages of our strategy to ensure we are able to provide and care for your pets.
We know this is a stressful time for all of us and events often change day to day. Please prioritise yourselves and your loved ones, and know we are all in this together. We will continue to deliver top-notch services for all of your pets. We have the upmost confidence in our team to protect you and your pets.
Take care, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
